Conceptual Engineering Study for a New Greenfield Lead Smelter to Produce 140,000 tpa Lead Bullion.

Project Work Includes:
  • Evaluate and Integrate Direct Smelting Technologies into Overall New Lead Plant
  • Develop Balance of Plant including Pyrometallurgical and Electrometallurgical Refinery, Acid Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant, Material Handling, Co-Gen Plant, Process and Hygiene Ventilation Systems
  • Prepare Mass and Energy Balances
  • Develop Process Block Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams
  • Develop Process Description and Control Philosophy
  • Develop Preliminary General Arrangements and Key Elevation Drawings
  • Develop Overall Site Master Plan for Each Smelting Technology
  • Establish Major Equipment Components, Sizing and Layouts
  • Define Environmental Impact
  • Establish Project Implementation Plan
  • Determine CAPEX and OPEX at ± 25%
